UPDATE: Football National Registry

OFADear Parents and Players,

With recent changes brought down by Football Canada and subsequently the Ontario Football Alliance (OFA), there have been changes to the fee structure for the 2016 season.  As in the past there is a $25.00 fee for each player for insurance coverage that the Wolverines have paid as part of your annual fee.   However this year there is an additional $11.00 fee that goes to Football Canada for a total of $36.00, which you as a player/parent need to pay when you sign up on the National Registry. This is now mandatory for each player to do before they can begin practicing. Each player/parent has to pay this themselves, as the organizations they are playing for cannot pay these fees up front.

National Registry

You can sign up in the National registry as of January 1st on the Ontario Football Alliance Website ontariofootball.ca and pay the $36.00 at that time. You will see this symbol below in the top right hand side of the OFA website, just click it on and follow the steps.  The National Registry process is actually been mandated right from Sport Canada down through the various sports and many other sports have been using this process already.

2016 WOLVERINE FEES:

To offset this $36.00 the Wolverines organization has decided that we will cover this off by reducing the Varsity and Junior Varsity fees from $750.00 to $714.00 ($75.00 tryout fee plus $639.00) and the Bantam Fee from $650.00 to $639.00 ($75.00 tryout fee plus $564.00) for the 2016 season.

Constitution Committee Recruitment

Hello Wolverines Family,

It is hard to believe, but the successful Peterborough Wolverines Football program is about to enter its 6th season!!

We are obligated to update our Constitution every 5 years, which means that we will be updating it before our 2016 season begins. At the AGM in November a motion was made and accepted to compose a Constitution Committee that will work together to update the current constitution. We would like to have a group of 6-8 people comprised of parents, coaches, volunteers and Board members that are interested in contributing to the update of the Wolverines Constitution.

If you are interested in sitting on this Committee, please confirm your interest in writing to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. by December 20, 2016. We look forward to gaining perspective from all of the different groups that have contributed to the great success we have had with this program.

If you do not wish to join the committee, but feel you have some valuable suggestions for the constitution update, please direct you suggestions to the email address above.

Regards,

Bryan Junkin
